Application Pick Up
Applications may be picked up at the Southwood Office at 6001 Trammell Rd, Morrow, GA 30260 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am – 4:30pm.
Application Return
Applications can be returned in person at the Southwood Office 6001 Trammell Rd, Morrow, GA 30260 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am – 4:30pm beginning on March 5, 2024.
Applications can also be returned by email to southwood@winnco.com beginning on March 5, 2024.
*We will only accept the first 100 applications for 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom and 3 Bedroom Apartments and then the wait lists will close.
Southwood is a low income tax credit building and also has rental assistance through the Project Based Section 8 program and is subject to a maximum income limit. Applicants are selected from the wait list based off the time/date of their application and applicable preferences.
a) Displaced applicants as a result of a major disaster as determined by the President of the United States or as a result of a government action.
b) Applicants seeking relocation to avoid, remedy, or address harassment based on protected status, or the emergency transfer of a resident due to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking, in accordance with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
c) Families that include a person with a disability
d) All other program income and otherwise eligible applicants based chronologically by date and time of application
Accessible Wait List Open
The wait lists for the limited apartments that are accessible to people with mobility impairments (Wheelchair Accessible) is open and will follow the above guidelines. Persons with disabilities have the right to request reasonable accommodations in the application process.
